About us
Dana Brevini has a long history and it was among the world’s top ten manufacturers in the sector of mechanical transmissions and gear drives, thanks to relevant market shares in industrial applications (steel industry, plastics production, materials handling) and in innovative systems such as waste recycling plants, wind and energy production. Brevini name was related to a major player also in the mining sector and in marine technologies.
PT Trading was founded by engineers with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturers of power transmissions for machines for the industrial and mobile sectors. This allows us to use our skills to select and propose the correct transmission respecting the specifications provided by the customer. Today we have a wide range of products that allow us to propose and supply the best technical solutions, both for manufacturers of special machines and for standard productions. High Torque Planetary Gearboxes
The planetary gearbox, also known as the epicyclic gearbox, is the preferred solution where high torque is required with reduced weight and compact dimensions. Torque ratings are up to two million Nm.
S Series
The “S Series” is the best solution for all applications requiring high torque with minimum dimensions, on fixed industrial equipment and also on self-propelled machines.
This planetary solution offers a substantial improvement in terms of space and weight.
High Power Series
This powerful combination of planetary gear units and bevel helical gearboxes is the new solution provided by DANA Motion Systems for any high power industrial applications, such as: materials handling, mining, marine equipment, metal processing, pulp and paper, recycling industry. A comprehensive range of available accessories completes the product.
Industrial Planetary Gearboxes
This is a complete range of modular design planetary gearboxes, and combines high performance with low cost and compact size. The many years of commercial success achieved by DANA planetary gearboxes testify to their excellent quality and reliability, simple installation and limited maintenance.
DANA’s industrial planetary gearboxes come in a range of sizes to ensure optimum duration and silent running in all sorts of applications.
Slewing Drive
This range of DANA planetary gear units is specifically designed for to drive slewing rings in industrial applications.
Successfully employed since many years on tower cranes, shipboard and harbour cranes, wind generators and as steering drive on ship propulsion systems.
Their advantages are: compact dimensions, high performance, simple mounting, operating reliability, modular design, quality certification.
Mobile Planetary Gearbox
The drives’ high radial load capacity means they can support wheel/sprocket loads without the need for additional structural reinforcement.
High ratios are available to reduce motor displacement size. A full complement of Brevini Motion Systems motors are also available to suit, making us a single source supplier of drivetrains.
Helical & Bevel Helical Gearboxes
The PIV range by Dana produces helical gearboxes, bevel gearboxes and bevel/helical gearboxes for high power, high torque applications. The Posired 2 range has great flexibility and torque ratings to over two million Nm. PIV drives enjoy an outstanding reputation for quality power transmission solutions.
Plastics & Rubber Drives
All of the drives have high axial load capacity, which means that no additional load-bearings structure is needed.
The drives’ low noise levels are in line with environmental and HSE requirements.
Shaft Mounted Gearboxes
These Compact Plano-Helical Drives which are protected by a specific patent, feature a combination of planetary and helical gears that takes advantage of the strengths of each technology: compact size, high reliability and easy maintenance
Winches
Our range includes hydraulic winches, marine winches, electric hoisting and pulling winches for various sectors: winches for the drilling sector, compact winches for truck cranes, high speed winches for self-propelled cranes, winches for tow trucks, and special solutions.
Gearmotors
Our shaft and flange mounted parallel helical gearmotors are up to 18k Nm. Our foot and flange mounted helical inline gearmotors are up to 18k Nm. Our bevel helical gearmotors are up to 15k Nm. All are now available. For more information please contact us.
